NATIONAL CHILD ABUSE PREVENTION MONTH (April)2012 Opening Ceremonies Sunday April 1st-Sacramento,CA.
THE CAUSE: National Child Abuse Prevention Month (NCAPM) is a time set aside to focus specifically on preventing child abuse/neglect within our communities. Specifically by fostering education and collaborations which facilitate the type of awareness required to prevent criminal conduct against the youngest and most vulnerable members of society.
Help Prevent Child Abuse

THE CONCERN: With crimes against children on the rise we have a moral obligation to focus upon this serious issue and take action which works against predators and all whom lack the ability or insight to properly protect children in their care.
THE CAMPAIGN: The Greater Sacramento region proudly hosts this 50 state kick off, featuring opening ceremonies Sunday April 1st collectively pulling people and resources together which will call significant attention to this important cause. Events that day include: Departure of Kross Kountry-4-Kids (Folsom Harley-Davidson 115 Woodmere Rd. Folsom,CA.) then a Leadership Luncheon, Family Safety Fair & Heroes With Heart Gala (Sunrise Event Center 11167 Trade Center Drive Rancho Cordova,CA. 95670).
The Camaraderie: By pulling together individuals, groups and businesses which have a specific interest in this cause while forming partnerships with the Justice Community, Law Enforcement,Education Liaisons and Social Services we are able to facilitate collaborations which produce positive accessible resources that work to fulfill our mission, and secure safer communities for children.
CROSS COUNTRY: Program partners from all 50 states participate in this project, working in harmony with foundational facilitators of Northern California, to generate a message and movement which is effective and brings forth positive sustained results. Incorporated into the United States outreach is a two week motorcycle journey traveling from Sacramento to Washington D.C. and back, serving as a formal and peaceful demonstration of help and hope for children nationwide!
